The Txoko Experience:
The Secret Culinary Space
of the Basques
—
Brand design and graphic applications for The Txoko Experience: The Secret Culinary Space of the
Basques. A documentary film projected in the US and international flights of Iberia, focused on the uniqueness of the txokos and gastronomic societies of the Basque Country, as well as its products and avant-garde cuisine.
The identity was based on the etymological concept of the word ‘txoko’, which in Basque means ‘corner’ or ‘small place’. In that way, the documentary's typographic title was framed within that ‘space’ that represented the Biscayan Txokos or the Gipuzkoan societies.
The film, presented in October 2017 at the San Sebastián Gastronomika International Congress and at the Culinary Institute of America in New York, has the participation of great references of Basque cuisine such as Elena Arzak, Josean Alija, Aitor Arregi or Bittor Arginzoniz.
